I have downloaded about 20 cards and only 2 of them work. I downloaded vanilla cards as well as others that required additional mods. Some cards have no listed mods needed -- the characters are not visible in the game. Some cards list mods so I download and install the mods (i.e. merge with abdata data folder) -- the characters are not visible in the game. I thought that maybe I am downloading character cards for a different game, so I explicitly search for Honey Select cards. Still no luck except for the 2/20 cards.

Is there a trick to this that I'm missing?

I click into the post and drag the image into my "Illusion\Honey Select\UserData\chara\female" folder. It saves a .png. To re-iterate, I have done the same process 20 times -- 2 cards worked out of 20. I have installed only several mods as suggested by the original posts sharing the cards.

Also, I keep reading mention of some pastebin file. Can someone share that link?

Did you check the card Tags? This Booru is for more games than Honey Select, Maybe you have been adding cards from another game. (Like Playhome)

I always use Right click so save the files, It should not matter but try it anyway. (it's pretty much the same)

If the cards you downloaded are from HS then most likely you are missing mods to load them in.

What he said but also check if you have the Party DLC installed. Your title screen should look like this

I was having that same problem last year too with a lot of cards that require the DLC first before they show up

Thanks for the replies. I decided to go to that pastebin (thanks, been wondering where that link was...) and download a new installation. Everything seems to be working.

@TommyBoy thanks for the suggestion. I will try that. I did not have the Party DLC mod installed. With the new installation at that pastebin, everything seems to be working better than before. All of the cards work, I have a clear idea of what has been installed, and the Party DLC is working.

Are there other pose/position mods and clothing mods organized in a different pastebin?

The pastebin has almost every mod for HS! (Maybe even all of them).
But you can always check Hongfire or Anime-Sharing for more.

Some character cards I downloaded don't work, is there a curtain version you need? I have wide slider installed and I think I have a old version

kim98 If nothing above helps check to see what game the cards you have saved are for in the Tags #Play_home #Honey_select. PH will load old HS cards but not the other way around

do you guys have a good DL link for PH too? like the one from HS above, with some mods and dlcs already included.
