Is there a rule against links? My one picture that had a link to the inspiration for the character is gone and other peoples pictures that aren't mine, where some one had asked what the mod being used was. I responded to the pics with a link to said requested mod. What is the deal?

What image are you talking about? Could you give me a post ID? Your profile says 5 uploads and there's 5 images when I search for your uploads, so none of your images have been deleted, and none of those 5 have any comments at all.

The comments are still up, they weren't on my own pictures...

I found my missing picture. It is marked as hidden for some reason. It is Officer Chloe. Sorry i'm completely new here.

If you wouldn't mind explaining... I hate to be a pain. How do I unhide a picture?

Theoretically, there's nothing you can do about it. Posts are "hidden" when their rating drops below 0.

Realistically though, it seems like it's just one guy going around and downvoting all the stuff he doesn't like, and you can make your card visible again by just clicking the blue plus sign above the image. If somebody else comes along and downvotes it though, there's pretty much nothing you can do.

yea that's pretty terrible. The people getting only -1 which falls below 0 threshold can you please unhide them it's pretty annoying going through say 100+ pages and having to unhide just -1 or -2 status, just cuz one or two users don't like the picture. Maybe write a script like say... if less than 5 votes don't unhide or if user x is going around just negatively voting, have him wait say 60 minutes per -5 votes. Or have him required 1 post/upload 1 upload per downvote, at leat if he/she is such a critic have him/her upload contente. Or check his downvote ratio and require him to have at least a 1:10 like/dislike ratio.

Go to "My Account" -> "Options" -> "Post Threshold" and set the score to say -10 and you will never need to unhide any posts (the most down votes I've seen in recent memory is four). Go lower if you want to play it absolutely safe. :)

Not really. This is the entire point of the rating system, to highlight good posts and do the opposite for bad posts. The only reason it seems like one person has ultimate say over what posts get seen is because nobody's upvoting what's being hidden (that being said though, I don't like the idea of people clicking (+) just to spite the guy that clicked (-) instead of clicking it because they genuinely like the post in question). Reminds me of a saying...



Oh dear god no, let the guy downvote the stuff he doesn't like. It's not as if this person's changing their IP every 5 minutes to send a post from +10 to -10. If you dislike having to click "X posts hidden" or you just want to see every card all the time (like myself), go to "My Account"->"Options" and set "Post Threshold" to something like -99

The booru.org staff are the only ones that have access to the servers these boorus are stored on. I can write all the features I want (and have done so for my personal booru), but none of them are going to be coming to this booru unless I fork over some cash to the patreon (which I would do if I wasn't a NEET).
