I really wish that "55b" would actually upload the character cards and not just the studio scenes. The card ripper software like "waifu ripper" doesn't always work and doesn't work for everybody on every system.

try honey select ultra char editor comes with char extractor

how do people run these? my PC is a total beast but it takes forever to load and I get really low FPS.
Is there a memory match or something I'm missing?
Or is my mod setup (lighting etc.) slowing everything down maybe?

Scenes will never load fast, regardless of what kind of super computer you have. the more characters there are, the more it has to load for each individual character.
As for FPS, your need a strong PC, yes. Lighting mods will slow things down.
55b does everything in an unmodded game.
