For some reason, the neck just appears normal length, even with the bone mod & skin tex file. Why is that?

Try this
Load the Giraffe girl in character maker
A new bone mod file should then be generated, usually right next to the chara card in chara cards folder
Open it
Copy the values in my old one to the new one
She should then have the longer neck
