Ai Shoujo Old Cards
My version of the game is the v2.1 one and i can't use the cards in this site. Once i donwload them and paste them in the char paste the game instantly moves the cards to another paste in the same folder called "Old". Please give me a hand.
If that's the case, tell me witch version of the game i should use, please

Did you buy the game? Or Repack download?

It's a repack. I got it from the internet

Well you should have all the mods and add-ons then.
They must be cards from other games.
Happens to me all the time since AI, Playhome, and Honey S look so similar.
If the game doesn't match it puts the cards in Old folder.

Isn't there a way to see which one of the games the card is?
Thanks for telling me, by the way.

Hopefully and usually it's in the tags. But not always.
The nice thing about KoiK is how they really stand out compared to the other 3 games.
I know your pain. I've downloaded so many Playhome and AI cards only to find they won't work with Honey S.
It's like, "Oh hell yeah new waifu today! Exactly what I was looking for! Oh shit.."

You could always double check on Kenzato.
If that site does anything right it has a more efficient sorting filter for the games.

Well, you know, there's a very subtle difference. Maybe it's because I am playing these games since AG3, so when new cards start coming out there's that difference.

For AI it's usually easy because of the image quality, background and frame. They are new and almost all cards do not use old ones. Cards have that "post-process" effect to them, while HS are more raw. Most AI cards are also "darker" than HS or PH.

Between PH and HS with LRE there's very little difference, but looking closely PH also has some more "blurred" cards compared to HS.
It's difficult to explain and yes, people don't tag their cards properly, so if it goes in the 'old' folder, then it's not for this game.

So I finally tried using the ResolveSlotID to look over your recent elf card.
I appear to have 4K diffuser installed just fine but the LRE is missing.
The link from the Resolve program is dead and the mod looks huge. from PasteBin.
The repack either messed up the LRE or it's not there at all.
I did install a small Junketsu outfit mod thus far. How heavy is the task of setting up LRE? Will it overwrite anything?

Hmm LRE alone is not that heavy to install. You already have the 4K skin, so just install LRE and a skin for it, like the one from Metagraph.
IBL is what is big.
Installing both makes a great change to game quality, IMO (well, not just my opinion). BUT IBL needs gigas of cubemaps to be downloaded. At first i was really afraid of destroying my game after installing LRE + IBL but it was not that hard, just had to (and i'm still doing it) adjust my characters' skin.

What can i tell you by know is to follow Meta guide. Meta skin and edits to LRE/IBL are the best i found around, and you can use cool cubemaps and lighting and enhancements and etc in studio to spice up those old scenes.

It has links for everything, from Joan's site with LRE/IBL (and more amazing stuff) to the skin tex and the files for the guide with edited configs, character with adjusted skin and etc.

Repack probably does not have LRE with IBL installed this way.

Also it is very sad that ResolveMoreSlotID is outdated and most links lead to hongfire, which is dead by now, i guess. But it shows the folder for some things so we can know what we're looking for, so others can upload (like i did today with a hood for the xayah character). This is because some mods are not in the Mediafire links in lewdh's pastebin.
But it helps a ton anyway

Well I'm glad you can see why it's overwhelming to consider.
I don't want to break my game and install it all over again.
I usually really enjoy modding games manually but these adult games are a different story. Not sure why.
But I have a blast constantly modifying Darkest Dungeon with new quality of life improvements of the latest sexy skin.

It's easy to keep a backup of a game like this when it's only a few GBs. HS Repack is 90 GBs lol.
FeelsBadMan. Still worth the space though :)

Yeah it seems like Hongfire is dead or my ISP is blocking it :/

You can always backup only what the mod is going to overwrite, as i did one time with LRE. I tried it once, then removed and then installed again later. If you make a backup of only the files and then put them back, no harm done to the game. Just be sure to not create cards and then remove stuff.

Once you start modding, you never stop. It's a rule, like rule 122, 'Mod it until it crashes'.

You can also install a mod manager for HS, but i do not really know about them. I think there was something alike Mod Organizer, but never really tried it.
HF was likely dead a long time ago already, it is prob really gone now.
