You may be wondering, "Wait these aren't based on anyone in particular. Why did you make two white mages?" Well, y'see, originally I was gonna make a twin braided blonde white mage. Y'know, the one from Tactics/the most popular variant. As I was gathering reference material, I noticed that while they had the same design, their personalities were drastically different. Like, one of the white mages would look sweet n' innocent looking, but then there were countless others that swung to the complete opposite side of the spectrum. They had the same design, but those ones were more jaded. Not as bright eyed as they used to be. More mature, if you will.

So at first, I started out by trying to combine all those elements together, but then I realized that by doing so I ended up creating some weird, disjointed hodge podge. Like, her eyes were a dark brown, suggesting she's more mature. But her hair was bright blonde, suggesting youth n' energy but that completely clashed with how her head was shaped and then her eyes made her face look way too small and...y'get the idea. Long story short, I ended up splitting her into two different people. One's the bright eyed, nervous yet full of energy, adorable healer. The other's is utterly sick of everyone's shit.

The brunette was based off the white mage design in Final Fantasy Tactics A1+2...which I was going to say, but then it turns out the brunette was actually from Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings. A game I have never heard of nor did I even know that it existed in the first place. So yeah, kind of an obscure pull I guess. Or not, maybe that game's actually super popular.
