Correct me if I'm wrong, but I get the idea that the reason why "Update old cards" won was the impression that more cards would be made. Considering how only one card was released even this late into the month, that didn't turn out so well. So wha happun?
Well, remember when I said that Corrin card took a lot out of me? Boy it sure did. Went in thinking it'd be a simple drag n' drop operation with a haircut but then complications sprang out of the woodwork. Outfits weren't as complete as I thought, pivoting to a different artstyle mid way through, getting way too caught up on minor details, quite a number of things were harder to make than I had initially planned for...In short, I bit off way more than I could chew. Which is usually the case, but due to cirumstances had worse consquences than usual.
Those circumstances being that well, vacation is almost over and I really wanted to squeeze out as much as I could with the time I had left. But I knew I had my Patreon obligations so I tried to get back to it ASAP. Didn't turn out so well, burned myself out a bit with not much to show for. I just wouldn't be able to get what I was working on out in time, hence this stopgap measure. Ever get that feeling of deja vu?
So yeah, that aside for now, what's new Scooby-doo? Well, as you can see her outfit has received a massive upgrade alongside her hair, and that's all thanks to GF. Same person responsible for the Aigis mod as well too. Quite the talented chap eh? There has been some minor adjustments to her body n' face but this was the card that I thought Corrin's was going to be: Something really easy to put together. Hell, I didn't even have to do the hair so it was a straight up drag n' drop op. Funny how things turn out.
That means the outfits you see her were from Discord with little rhyme or reason other than that they're apparently based off characters from the same series. I don't know who any of them are so if you do and are confused as to why she has those, that's why. (I think I had to edit the elf outfit to Olga better but that was solely the hair and even then I don't think I did that much.)
Slight digression, but I'm gonna pivot towards having thumbnails be more attractive/show the character off better and reserving the more jokey/goofy previews in the other slides. Who could've possibly guessed focusing on how attractive the card looks would lead to more views?
Not much else to say about the card. Anyways, hopefully I'll be able to release the card slated for this month by the end of the next week. You might see more stop gap cards as I try to strike a balance between Patreon and work. What you will see for sure is at least 2 cards per month. Just gonna close this out by thanking GF and Discord for their hard work.
